John C. Donnelly
Managing Director
Mr. Donnelly founded DP&P in September 2000. He leads the firm’s delivery of investment banking and financial advisory services to banking and financial service companies, with a focus on community banks. Since forming DP&P, Mr. Donnelly has provided advisory services to over 60 banking and financial service transactions and clients.
Prior to forming DP&P, Mr. Donnelly was a Managing Director in the investment banking department of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where he focused on the financial services and utilities industries. Mr. Donnelly joined Raymond James in 1999 effective with its acquisition of Roney & Co. Mr. Donnelly joined Roney in 1993, and was made General Partner in 1994. While at Roney, he held the positions of Managing Director of Corporate Finance, Co-Head of Corporate Finance, and head of the Financial Institutions group. He also served on the nine member Executive Committee of Roney from 1995 to 1996. From 1983 to 1993, Mr. Donnelly held the positions of Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Finance at First of Michigan Corporation. Prior to that, he was employed in various positions at both Manufacturer's National Bank (now Comerica, Inc.) and Michigan National Bank. Mr. Donnelly graduated from Georgetown University and holds a M.B.A. degree from the University of Detroit. |

James C. Penman Managing
Director
Mr. Penman founded DP&P in September 2000. He leads the firm’s delivery of investment banking and financial advisory services to manufacturing companies, with a focus on the automotive and transportation industries. Since forming DP&P, Mr. Penman has provided advisory services to over 25 manufacturing and automotive transactions and clients.
Prior to forming DP&P, Mr. Penman was a Managing Director in the investment banking department of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where he focused on the automotive industry. Mr. Penman joined Raymond James in 1999 effective with its acquisition of Roney & Co. Mr. Penman joined Roney in 1993, and was made General Partner in 1994. While at Roney, he held the positions of Managing Director of Corporate Finance, Co-Head of Corporate Finance, and head of the Manufacturing and Automotive group. Mr. Penman also served on the nine member Executive Committee of Roney from 1997 to 1998. Prior to joining Roney, he was a Senior Vice President at the investment banking firm of First of Michigan Corporation for eight years, and was employed at Touche Ross & Co. Mr. Penman graduated from Purdue University, holds a J.D. degree from the University of Detroit, and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. |

C. Kirk Haggarty Managing
Director Mr. Haggarty founded DP&P in September 2000. He leads the firm’s delivery of investment banking and financial advisory services to the distribution and services industries. Since forming DP&P, Mr. Haggarty has provided advisory services to over 35 manufacturing, distribution and services, healthcare and technology clients.
Prior to forming DP&P, Mr. Haggarty was a Vice President in the investment banking department of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where he focused on the manufacturing, distribution and services industries. Mr. Haggarty joined Raymond James in 1999 effective with its acquisition of Roney & Co. Mr. Haggarty joined Roney in 1993, and was made General Partner in 1997. While at Roney, Mr. Haggarty was a Director of Corporate Finance and specialized in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising in the manufacturing, distribution and services industries. Prior to that, he actively participated in the analysis, structuring and execution of corporate finance and merger and acquisition transactions with First of Michigan Corporation for two years, and worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers). Mr. Haggarty graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. degree in Finance and holds a M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Detroit. |

John D. Lewis Managing Director
Mr. Lewis joined DP&P in 2008. Mr. Lewis also serves as an advisor to the Donnelly Penman Financial Services Fund (“the Fund”). He serves as the Chairman of the Fund’s investment committee and oversees the governance, portfolio management and fund raising of the Fund. Mr. Lewis will play a similar role with the anticipated second financial services fund and will assist in capital raising. Mr. Lewis has an extensive banking background with a 36-year career at Comerica.
Mr. Lewis retired as Vice Chairman of Comerica in 2006. During his tenure, Mr. Lewis served as a Director of Comerica Incorporated and Comerica Bank, and a member of Comerica’s Management Policy Committee and Management Council. Mr. Lewis was instrumental in building and expanding Comerica’s presence in Michigan, Florida, California and Texas. As Director of Corporate Planning and Development in the early 1980s, he led the corporate development efforts to identify and successfully negotiate five acquisitions in Michigan, expanding Comerica’s presence beyond the Detroit metropolitan area. Later, through the mid-1990s, as Director of Affiliate Banking, he led the team that completed more than 30 mergers and acquisitions, establishing Comerica’s footprint in the high growth markets of Florida, Texas and California. Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton, and a M.B.A. from the University of Detroit. He also attended the University of Michigan Graduate School of Banking. |

Jeffrey W. Kolb Managing Director
Mr. Kolb heads up the financial institutions banking practice for Donnelly Penman & Partners in Chicago and covers Midwest markets for the firm. He has been involved in the acquisitions of community banks ranging in size from $50 million to $1 billion. Mr. Kolb has a broad financial background in commercial and investment banking that includes managing domestic and international business units in the U.S. and abroad.
Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Kolb was President of the Chicago Region for First Bank, a $10 billion commercial bank with branches in five states. He joined First Bank shortly after it made the Chicago market a strategic focus and managed the bank’s continued expansion over the ensuing five years through acquisitions and internal growth. Before joining First Bank, Mr. Kolb spent over twenty-six years with Bank One and predecessor companies, including First Chicago Capital Markets and NBD Bank, in Chicago and Detroit. During this time, he held senior level positions in capital markets, where he was Managing Director for financial institutions and automotive suppliers, and in corporate banking, where he headed NBD’s Europe Group including branch offices in London and Frankfurt. He has extensive experience analyzing and monitoring the performance of both financial institutions and corporate clients. Mr. Kolb graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Economics and holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. |

Sean M. O’Donnell, CFA
Vice President-Trading
Mr. O'Donnell has worked in the finance industry for seven years, and joined DP&P in July 2002. Since 2006 Mr. O'Donnell has managed the Donnelly Penman Financial Services Fund, a $28 million private investment fund which focuses on investing in de novo, early stage and microcap community banks. Mr. O'Donnell also oversees DP&P's trading operation, which makes a market in community bank stocks. Prior to assuming the portfolio manager and trading roles, Mr. O’Donnell specialized in advising on merger and acquisition transactions, corporate finance, and business valuations for private and public companies, primarily in the banking, automotive and manufacturing industries. In addition, he has authored the Midwest Banking Journal, a research and marketing publication produced by DP&P that relates to the investment performance of Midwest de novo and other community banks. Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. O’Donnell was employed as an Associate with Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance LLC, the investment banking subsidiary of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. O¡¦Donnell has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, graduated with high honors from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in Finance, and received an M.B.A. degree with distinction from the University of Michigan. |

Roy W. Vorhees IV, CPA Vice
President
Mr. Vorhees joined DP&P upon the firm’s formation in September 2000. Mr. Vorhees focuses on serving the firm’s manufacturing and transportation client base, providing services including: corporate divestiture, private company sell-side advisory, joint-venture advisory, distressed situation analysis, buy-side advisory and due diligence, business valuation, and going private transactions.
Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Vorhees was a Director in the Transaction Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he provided advisory services related to over 25 merger and acquisition candidates, including public and international targets. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he serviced private and public clients, including multinational and Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Vorhees is a licensed CPA, graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in accounting and received a M.B.A. degree with a focus on finance and corporate strategy from the University of Michigan. |

Zachary G. Urban, CFA
Vice President
Mr. Urban joined DP&P in 2001. At DP&P, Mr. Urban specializes in merger and acquisition transactions (buy side and sell side), business valuations, financial advisory, due diligence services, and capital raising for middle market public and private clients. Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Urban was an Associate in the Corporate Value Consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, he specialized in business valuation services, strategic consulting, and corporate finance consulting for public and private companies, including multinational and Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, he worked with Merrill Lynch where he researched and analyzed companies to help develop portfolio strategies for clients. Mr. Urban has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and graduated with high honors from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in Finance. |

Adam M. Fovenesi
Assistant Vice President
Mr. Fovenesi joined DP&P in 2005. At DP&P, Mr. Fovenesi’s responsibilities include generating potential merger partner lists and managing communication with potential buyers/targets; developing deal documents, performing financial analysis, due diligence and valuation. Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Fovenesi was a Senior Associate in the Corporate Value Consulting practice of Standard & Poor’s. At Standard & Poor’s, he specialized in business valuation services, strategic consulting, and corporate finance consulting for public and private companies, including multinational and Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, he worked with Plante & Moran LLP, where he performed assurance and advisory services for middle market clients. Mr. Fovenesi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level II candidate and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in Accounting. |

Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Lamb was a Senior Analyst in Stout Risius Ross' Transaction Advisory Group, where he specialized in performing financial opinions, such as fairness and solvency opinions, related to merger and acquisition, and recapitalization transactions. Prior to that, he worked with Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance where he provided advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Anne Ugval, CPA
Assistant Vice President
Mrs. Ugval joined DP&P in 2007. At DP&P, Mrs. Ugval manages all aspects of running the daily business, including financial reporting, payroll and accounting. Prior to joining DP&P, Mrs. Ugval was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. At PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, she managed tax planning and reporting requirements for high net worth individuals, investment partnerships, and LLCs. She also reviewed complex tax returns, managed payroll for household employees, reviewed staff performance, and coordinated the training and supervision of interns and associates. Mrs. Ugval is a Certified Public Accountant and has earned a B.A. degree in accounting from Walsh College. |

Andrew C. Christians
Senior Associate
Mr. Christians joined DP&P in 2006. At DP&P, Mr. Christians specializes
in mergers and acquisitions (buy side and sell side), business
valuations, financial advisory, strategic analysis, and raising capital
for financial institutions. Mr. Christians has also rendered sell-side
and valuation services for the automotive, manufacturing, and service
industries. Prior to joining DP&P, Mr. Christians was an Analyst in
Stout Risius Ross' Transaction Advisory Group. At Stout Risius Ross, he
specialized in performing financial opinions and consulting services
primarily related to mergers and acquisitions, goodwill impairment
analyses, and corporate strategic planning. Mr. Christians is a
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level II candidate and graduated from
the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business with a B.B.A.
